The Monkey and tortoise were lived together with other animals in a forest long time ago. They were ruled by the lion who was the King of the forest. The monkey and tortoise usually got into problems because the tortoise claimed to be the wisest of all the animals and the monkey claimed to be the most advanced amongst all the animals. One day, the monkey told the tortoise that soon he will be king of the forest and the tortoise will be under him. The tortoise asked how that could be possible for they both know that the lion is the king of the forest because he is the strongest of them all and no one can defeat him. The Monkey said that he is the most advanced animal and almost like humans. He emphasized that the lion is under the control of humans and he (the monkey) is almost like a human. The tortoise got angry and decided to make the monkey regret his words. He(the tortoise) baked banana cake and placed it in front of the lions house. He then hid himself in a near by bush and watched. the flavor from the cake made the lion get out of his house to check what produced such an appetizing scent. He (the lion) discovered the cake and without knowing what it was, he began eating it at once. it was the best cake thing he ever ate in his life. when it was finished, he started shorting and asking who placed the kind of food in front of his house. No one responded to him. He started searching the bushes nearby to see if he could find anyone around. It was then that he discovered the Tortoise, and questioned him regarding the food he earlier ate. the tortoise said it should be a secret between the two of them and he told the lion it was the feces of the monkey. the lion immediately went to the monkeys house and said " GIVE ME SWEET FECES " . the Monkey did not understand what he (the lion) meant and never responded. After the lion insisted for some time, the Monkey defecated and the lion ate it. it was not as sweet as the one he ate earlier. He (the lion) started beating the Monkey on the buttocks saying he needed sweat feces. the beatings made the monkey's bottom swollen and red. It never healed. That's why the monkey's bottom is swollen and red.
