The Clouds once organized a party in the sky and an open invitation was given to the entire public. All animals wish they could be part of this great feast but could not make it there for there was no way to get there. Only the birds had that previlage of attending. Mr. Tortoise could not see himself miss that wonderful party so he went to the birds and convinced them to borrow him some wings so he could attend the party as well. The birds borrowed him the wings and they left for the party. On their way to the party, the tortoise being so greedy taught of ways he could have all the food and drinks at the party to himself. He came up with something brilliant and suggested to the birds that " Let's pick responsible names to use at this party " the birds not realizing the tortoise was up to something agreed and they all began choosing names which suit them. the tortoise being the last to choose said " I shall be called ALL OF YOU ". about 30 minutes latter, their flight to the sky came to an end where they were greatly welcomed by all the clouds. A special table had been prepared for the land delegation. They took their sits and waited patiently for the food and drinks they all had dreams of feasting on. that time came and drinks were brought to their table. On presentations of the drinks, their attendant said " this drinks are for all of you " . Mr. Tortoise smiled for everything was working in favor of him. He grabbed the drinks and started feasting. The birds pleaded with him to join him drink and he reminded them that his name is ALL OF YOU. Food was brought to their table and the same thing with the drinks happened. Mr. Tortoise being so greedy ate and drank everything alone and the birds staved. When the party was over and it was time for the land delegation to return, the birds told the tortoise it was quite unfortunate for he could no longer use their wings and they took their wings away from him. The tortoise knew the only way he could return to earth was to jump from the sky so he pleaded with the birds to instruct his wife to put all their soft belongings on the field in front of his house so he could fall on. The birds on reaching earth told Mr. Tortoise wife that his husband said she should place their strong belonging on the field in front of their house. Mr.Tortoise wife did as instructed. She placed stones, wood and lots of hard materials on the field. After a few hours, Mr.Tortoise knew his news must have been delivered to his wife so he jumped from the sky and fell with his back on all the stones, wood and other hard materials his wife had place.You can imagine the fall. His back got broken and never healed . That's why a tortoise back is broken.
